Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

Tryline is a rugby training app operated by Verifit Limited (“Tryline”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using Tryline you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address, name, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with a third party (e.g. Google), we receive your email and basic profile details from them.
  • Profile information — details you choose to provide, such as display name, date of birth, body weight, height, and playing position.
  • Training data — the workouts, exercises, sets and reps, personal records, performance results, and training programs you create or are assigned.
  • Diagnostics and usage data — limited device and app information and crash reports, used to keep the app stable.

How we use your data

  • To provide the app and sync your data across your devices.
  • To calculate your statistics, personal records, and performance standards.
  • To send you essential service communications (e.g. sign-up and password-reset emails).
  • To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve the app.

Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on the lawful bases of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the app, and, where required, your consent.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate safeguards:

  • Supabase — secure hosting of our database, authentication, and storage.
  • Sentry — crash and error reporting to keep the app reliable.
  • Email and payments providers — to deliver transactional emails and, where applicable, process in-app purchases via the relevant app store.

We may also disclose data where required by law. Some providers process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account) or at tryline.pro/delete-account. When you delete your account, your profile, training history, and credentials are removed; anonymised data that can no longer identify you may be retained, and backups are purged within 90 days.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@tryline.pro. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular review of our practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Children

Tryline is intended for users aged 16 and over. Younger players should only use Tryline with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
